I would like to advise the members of the Rockhampton Aero Club that we have appointed a person to become our Chief Pilot/Chief Flying Instructor.
Pravin Sen, the new to be CP/CFI came to Australia some 24 years ago, he completed his schooling at the Sunnybank High School in Brisbane and then went onto to successfully obtain three university de-grees of which one of his degrees is a Bachelor of Aviation. Parvin has informed us that he loves flying as well as teaching as he had a period of time teaching in the United Arab Emirates and also at the Grif-fiths University in Queensland. Parvin has spent most of his instructing time in South East Queensland apart from a period of time flying a Lear 36 jet for CareFlight in Darwin.
Pravin is expected to commence employment at the club early next week and he also told me he likes to socialise and expects to be in attendance at the BBQ on Friday 3rd February for a meet and great. So please members, if you have the night free please come along and meet Pravin and make him wel-come to your club and Rockhampton.
